The main task of the complex is the creation and renewal of the fixed assets of the national economy. The role of the construction complex in the national economy is very significant. In Ukraine, the share of construction alone in GDP is 8%. The complex covers almost 10% of all employees in the national economy; 6% of them are in construction. Among the industries that serve the construction complex, first of all, it is necessary to mention heavy machinery, whose enterprises produce almost 2 thousand Machines, mechanisms, equipment for industrial, housing, road construction, land reclamation, communal services, as well as mining and production of building materials, among them are excavators, bulldozers, rollers, pipelayers, construction cranes, etc. This industry originated in Ukraine in the 20s. The second most important industry serving the complex is design and research. There are more than 300 such organizations on the territory of Ukraine. Without production of this industry - design and estimate documentation - construction is impossible.
The conjuncture of the construction market consists of a number of factors, the main of which is the cyclicality of the development of market reproduction. In addition, demand is affected by factors of a non-cyclical nature, both permanent (demographic changes; government policy, scientific and technical progress, seasonality, etc.) and episodic (natural disasters, wars, strikes, etc.). These factors have different effects on the components of the demand for construction products - consumer demand for housing, buildings and constructions of industrial use, submitted by private companies, demand for buildings and constructions from the state (infrastructure objects), as well as for repair and restoration work on existing objects.
Конъюнктура рынка строительства состоит из ряда факторов, основным из которых является цикличность развития рыночного воспроизведения. Кроме того, на спрос влияют факторы нециклического характера как постоянно действующие (демографические изменения; политика, осуществляется государством, научно-технический прогресс; сезонность и т.д.), так и эпизодические (стихийные бедствия, войны, забастовки и др.). Эти факторы по-разному влияют на составляющие спроса на продукцию строительства - потребительский спрос на жилье, здания и сооружения производственного назначения, поданный частными компаниями, спрос на здания и сооружения со стороны государства (объекты инфраструктуры), а также на ремонтно-восстановительные работы на существующих объектах.
