Важность строительной индустрии как отрасли народного хозяйства проявляется через назначение ее продукции. Своей продукцией эта отрасль создает, совершенствует и развивает основные фонды для всех отраслей материального производства, обеспечивает социально - экономические условия жизни населения. According to its organizational structure, the construction industry is the only construction complex in the country. Construction is a branch of material production and the national economy, where locally fixed (immovable) basic funds of the national economy of production and non-production purposes are created as ready-made construction products. Finished construction products are completed and put into operation buildings, constructions or their complexes.
the level of construction production is connected with the production of the means of production specified above; construction products are used for the production of other construction products. These are enterprises of building materials and products. In countries with a developed market economy, the construction industry develops according to the laws of the market and depends on the economic situation and fluctuations of the economic cycle. At the same time, construction has its own characteristic features that distinguish it from other industries and dictate the need for specific forms of organization and management of construction production. The complexity and diversity of the production of construction industry products cover various objects - from single-family residential houses to large industrial enterprises and engineering structures. Construction technology is constantly being improved.
Architecture largely reflects the leading ideas of its time, and the more progressive they are, the higher their value for humanity. Time does not spare ancient architectural structures. Wars and barbaric destruction led to the destruction of many ancient temples, outstandingly constructed in the Middle Ages and modern times. And nowadays, the ruins of the Athenian Acropolis, the famous Falling Tower of the Campanile in Pisa, the sights of Rome and the like are under threat. In the Soviet Union and in socialist countries, the protection of cultural achievements has become a state matter. VI Lenin attached great importance to the protection and restoration of architectural monuments.
